am i ?

am i selfish? or, am i too self-concern?

this question came across my mind whole day today, simple because something made me uncomfortable after Mass. it might be my fault. well, i dont know, because i think it another way round.

we are the instrument of worship, of cause, we need cooperation among team-members when serving our Lord. Yet it is to be very difficult to stand independently in a community.

3 months ago, i joinned 1130MT to serve our God in praise and worship team, the choir of the Church. everything gone smooth. i appreciate to every seniors as they guide me with all the skills to sing!

today's Mass, we are lacked of mike. therefore, some members might not have the chance to sing to the mike. yes, i knew it. but, i just sat at the place where usually i sat during Mass. and so coincidently, there was a mike prepared there for me, then i just sat down and sung to the mike for whole Mass.

when the Mass ended, somebody came to me and told me that, next time when there are lacking of mike, i shall take the mike and share! but not sing alone.

yes, it is true. i agreed with him and i should share, the mike.

hmmm...

i am so sorry, because i never think to share the mike today and i just kept the mike in front of me throughout the Mass. i'm selfish and i am self-concerned...

KL life? LOL

It has been a long time since I wrote in English. Anyway, I have no intention to blog nowadays.

Have stayed in KL more than a year... The only word I can describe about my life in KL is...... REGRET! Yea, I totally regret for I chose to study in KL! It's really strange for me.

I wonder KL is a big city, and the people staying in KL should be more generous and helpful... But, it seems to be the opposite from what I think. After a year spent in KL, I now thoroughly understand how realistic our society is...

Well, the environment of KL really attractive: the LRT, the Monorail, tall buildings, flyovers and even the people? Yea, it was... Despite this is a big city, the people here are all..... erm.... have no idea to decribe them! The way they think are totally different from what we did! Let's have an example, if you know one of your friends is broke, will you still forcing him or her to go for a high-class lunch? Or, to spend unnecessary expenses to have some fun in K box?

Hmmm... Fine... But for me, I will consider his or her difficulties at first priority... However, the people here, argh! NOOOOO! They won't... They will just laugh at you, looking down at your poor-liness and some of them don't even want to invite you for the second time!! How bad it is!

Anyway, I'm going to leave this land soon... A month later? Definitely less than a month!

Ming, black mailed to Jesus Christ

One day, Ming told her mom that he wish to have a computer as a birthday present. At home, Ming is a naughty boy. Ming's mom just worry if he will enthrall to the computer game, that's why she is not going to buy him a computer.

To avoid dispution with Ming, she told Ming:" Ming, if you wish to have a computer, you may need to write a letter to Jesus Christ to ask for his permission. If He agrees to let you own one, I will buy you a computer."

Therefore, Ming wrote a letter to Jesus Christ:

"Dear Jesus, My name is Ming. I am the favourite child in my family, and so in my class. I'm a good boy, hope you agree to let me own a computer as my birthday present."

After that, Ming took the letter and went to Church. At the Church entrance, he noticed a statue which Mother Mary carrying Child Jesus in Her arm... Ming rushed back to his home and returned with another letter:

"Dear Jesus, Your mom is in my hand. I will only return Your mom to You, after you buy me a computer! Do not worry, Your mom is safe!"

Sun - The Son of The God

In today's world, people prefer cloudy day than a sunny day. Let's imagine, if the sky is cloudy from day to night, how the earth will be?

We, as a human being, should not always think to take things from granted. The cloudy day pictures that the life without Lord, Son of God. That is meaningless, is empty, is unwisdom.

It's important to have the knowledge of Christ, the Son to deepen our faith.

Walking under a burning sun is just similizing as we worshiping in Church: Grace of Lord is everywhere. One should not deny the presence of God, no matter how difficult it is, to acknowledge Him in our life.

Prayers bring us closer to God. Keep our prayer to Him as we will not reject Him to enter our life. And.... His grace is shinning upon us, through the light of Sun (Christ, the Son)...

So glad to hear that the well known local composer Audi Mok and his spouse, Nichole Nicky (Malaysian Idol) are going to join the 1130am MassTeam in coming Sunday!

I think I'm not the superstitous kind of human being. Rather, I try to force myself to believe in certain facts that really adopted my attention. To believe in God, and his son, Jesus Christ as our Lord can't be said as superstitous since the faith has revealed its power to me several times.

To convert a Christian from Methodist to Catholic needs very strong desire. Practicing the Church teaching is the simplest way. Pray to God in silence works compared to other time. My prayer, which one of my will to be converted into Catholic was answered yesterday! That's to attend to wedding mass in church.

Jesus answered my prayer indirectly as the first step to accomplish my dream. He shown His love on me, by sending me a warm regard, Geraldine is having her wedding in Church on 8th September 2007. This is, a wonderful experience of the Holy Celebration since the 11:30am MassTeam been invited to sing during the wedding mass. Congratulations!

Prayer:
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, + and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Welcome to Catholic family

Congratulations I would like to say for the children who baptised this morning at 11.30am mass. Welcome to our Catholic family. May Holy Spirit guides them in all circumstances and encourages them to be more faithful to seek for God's kingdom. Amen.

Also, at the evening, was celebrating the Rite of Acceptance for Adults. Welcome once again to all the Enquiries, who are now Catechumans, to seek for God in their lives. As Catechumans, May God sends the Holy Spirit to protect them in their catechumanate journey towards baptism, and brings no temptation onto them. Amen.

compunction brings the better earthly life

Christ said:
My child, unless a man tries hard to acquire a holy sorrow for his sins, he is not worthy oh My heavenly consolation. Are you doing your best to acquire this compunction?

In solitude and quiet you will discover the hidden treasures of Holy Scripture. As you become more intimate with Me, your Creator, you will make great progress. You will find tears to wash and purify your soul. You will also have a deep interior joy as My holy angels and I draw near to you. Learn to pray and labor unseen by eyes of men.

I remember someone told me, everything that we did definitely exist a reason in conjunction. But how often we admit the fault we did? No. Not at all. We never admit our fault since we are born to be so called "die-wan-face". Each time when we commit a mistake, we will never admit it. In our mind, we will just remind ourselves - let it be...

Actually when we committed some sins, there're always some solutions to overcome. Frankly speaking, it needs to be considered how much effort and how strong our desire to solve them. People always say, it already happened, there's no return! Oh yea. That's just a lie, an unreasonable evasion to hide ourselves in a better situation.

We have to make sure everything that we do, is following and obeying Jesus' will. Find a suitable solution to overcome each mistakes and keep in mind to avoid re-commit. Jesus always our best friend, and obedience always the spiritual guidance to accomplish His will.

Sacred Heart - my innerhealer

Christ said:
My child, how can any man abondon himself to the pleasures of this earthly life. Such people do not appreciate the miserable condition of their souls, nor the rapid passing away of this brief experience. They do not stop to think and to look beneath the surface of their daily activities. They laugh when they have many reasons to weep. Happy is he who can overcome the distraction which hinder him from straight thinking.

Again, someone is trying to splurge over me after his "success" stoning me some sins to make a best friend of mine started to boycott me. Well, I commit that I am not the prefect good friend, but I'm pretty sure that I am a good person to be friend with. Few months ago, something ridiculous happened to me. I knew it was ridiculous, but I treated it seriously as an impact to changing me from a positive thinker to negative thinker!

Since we are born alone, it should be okie for us to stand alone. Likewise, we do not need to be afraid to face problems individually. I am pleased to be an Catholic Christian. I could feel that, most of my prayer were answered. Anyway, the very important fact is that, God is looking at me all the time, and He is carrying me whenever I fall; His attention towards me never left!

Glad to acknowledge Lord God as my precious friend. Through Him, I understand that myself is so frailty! Once an obstacle hits me, I am totally fallen. So thankful, He never leave me alone in a single moment. The presence of the Holy Spirit is so real. A warm, pleasant touch consoles me with the falling tears.

Before Sacred Heart, I committed all my frailties, my weekness, and my sins. How good He is to be among us! Do always remember, His word is spiritually an innerhealer. Thanks be to God! Amen.

ask for help whenever you need

In today's gospel reading (Luke 10: 38-42) is about Jesus visits Martha and Mary...

Jesus had two friends named Mary and martha who were sisters. One day, He travelled and stopped at Martha's home to visit. Mary was also there. The two sisters were happy to see Jesus. Martha went right to work fixing food and cleaning. She wanted everything perfect for Jesus.

While Martha worked, Mary sat at Jesus' feet, listening to Him. When Martha noticed how Mary was sitting with Jesus, instead of helping, she became angry. "Lord," said Martha, "see how Mary just sits while I do all the work. You should tell her to help me!"

"Martha, Martha," said Jesus calmly, "you are bothered by so many little things. Do you know what is really necessary?" Martha looked at Jesus with a puzzled face. "Mary made the right choice," said Jesus. "And it won't be taken from her."

SFX, Fr. Albert's homily stated that, whenever we needs help, we should ask for it! A story telling from Fr. Albert:

There was a famous university with an experienced old lecturer. Many students from all countries purposely signed up for the course to sit for his lecture. In the first lecture, the lecture hall was packed with students. All were excited to learn from him.

The old lecturer came in, and distributed sheets of questions for the students to answer. A thick set of questions! Students tooks the question papers and started to answer. Two hours passed, the old lecturer collected the paper and went out, without saying a single word.

The second lecture, the old lecturer came in and distributed the same amount of questions. Students were irritated of the way the old lecturer did, and they found it harder and harder to answer the questions set! Also, he collected the papers after two hours and walked away, without saying a single word.

On the third lecture, as usual, he distributed the question papers. He sat down. A moment later, he saw an arm on the air. "Sir, how we gonna solve the questions since you do not teach us?" A student said. "Finally, there's someone who keens to ask for help" said the old lecturer, "Do you know the reason why you are here?"

The students silent.

"You are here to learn from me, but not here to listen to what I lecture!" said the old lecturer, "Ask for help when you are needed! Don't be bothered of all the other things around you. The way to success is ask for help!"

Truely, as we are born to this simple but complicated world, we should be enthusiastic to learn. Lots of knowledges are waiting us to treasure about! We have to know what is really neccessary and the importances of seeking help, to God in the special case. It's really works!!

in the darkness He will shine

Christ said:
It should not be too hard for you to admit your frailty. See how often you are troubled by a small matter! At times you resolve to become a better man. Then along comes a small temptation, and away goes your resolution. Just when you think you are safe, when least expect it, you find yourself pushed over by a slight temptation...

Yes! That's what I strongly believed in. I've tried my best to be independence and yet I failed to do so. Always I told myself, I'm not the unluckly one, but all passions just fall to me like raindrops, unstoppable.

I wondered how many 20 years old joe faced that much problems what I faced! Friendship? Studies? Financial? Personalilties? Tearing to say that I'm too childish to handle all these in my age.

My life sucks! Each time when I met a new friend, there's some unexpected obstacle will happen. Discouraging me to meet new friend! The only word that I can say, is, the world is too dramatic!

As time passed, betrayal, backstab, tricks are fallen more cruelly onto me. Fallen, risen, fallen, and risen... until I numb!

Truely! I am exhausted with what I faced. Nothing can I do indeed...
